Important Dates
As part of our service commitment to GW students, the Colonial Central team sends along the following important financial services deadlines, reminders, and information for the month of May.
- Graduating seniors should take the time to review their account balance and zero out their student account before graduation. Holds will be placed on all accounts with a balance and must be paid in full for the hold to be removed. Students can check online at http://colonialcentral.gwu.edu to see their current statement of account.
- The University Student Emergency Loan Fund will close for the Spring semester on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. It will re-open on Monday, May 19, 2008 for the Summer session. Students must be enrolled as at least a half-time student in order to use the fund. This schedule does not apply to Allied Health, Law, or Medical students who must apply through their Dean’s offices.
- Students who have submitted their financial aid application may view their documents online by logging onto GWeb at http://banweb.gwu.edu under the Student Financial Assistance Menu beginning Thursday, May 1, 2008.
- Perkins Loan exit interviews will continue taking place thru Friday, May 23, 2008. Federal Perkins Loan Borrowers graduating this semester must make an appointment for an exit interview. To schedule an interview please call 202-994-2127.
- Monthly Payment Plan participants: GW is contracting with ECSI to manage the GW Monthly Payment Plan. For more information visit ECSI or click here to learn more about the GW Monthly Payment Plan. Students can sign up beginning Monday, May 19, 2008.
- Beginning Monday, May 19, 2008, Colonial Central will be operating on our Summer Break Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- We will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2008 in observance of Memorial Day.
